Position Overview:

The Director of Operations will be a pivotal leader within our organization, responsible for overseeing all field operations, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety. The ideal candidate will have a robust background as a Superintendent or General Superintendent in a commercial structural concrete firm, with a proven track record in field leadership, mentoring, team building, and process optimization.

Responsibilities:

• Field Leadership: Lead and manage all field operations, ensuring efficient and effective project execution.
• Team Development: Mentor and develop Superintendents and other field personnel, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Safety Management: Champion safety protocols and practices, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees.
• Scheduling: Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion of all projects.
• Cohesive Team Approach: Promote teamwork and collaboration across all levels of the organization, driving a unified approach to project execution.
• Systemization and Processes: Implement and refine operational systems and processes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
• Business Growth: Contribute to strategic planning and business development initiatives to support the company’s growth objectives.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in the commercial structural concrete industry, with at least 5 years in a Superintendent or General Superintendent role.
• Proven experience in field leadership, with a strong emphasis on safety, scheduling, and team building.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop employees, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges.
• Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
