Vice President of Underwriting

Inspired Healthcare Capital is a private equity company with a specialization in senior housing. We are looking for a Vice President of Underwriting to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the team and executing comprehensive review and analysis of loan structures, profiles, and documents to secure profitability, and reduce risk. What you'll be doing: Establish internal underwriting department objectives, and heads underwriting and approval processes to maximize profits and minimize losses Oversees the development and assures implementation of the Underwriting Department's policies, programs, practices, procedures, standards, and guidelines to achieve profitable results and acceptable loss ratios for all lines of business. Develops, monitors, and assesses Underwriting productivity and service standards. Collaborate with key stake holders on operations and strategy implementation Build, lead, train and mentor underwriting team Implement learnings from investor and partner interaction into actionable procedure development and expansion Drive the company underwriting guidelines, policies, and procedures, as well as federal and state regulatory requirements to ensure compliance at all times What you'll bring to the table: 12+ years of underwriting experience 5+ years of underwriting experience in senior living required Bachelor's Degree Demonstrated experience in leading a team Excellent communication skills What's in it for you: 401(k)with employer match Health insurance with % employer paid premium Dental, vision and life insurance options Paid time off Paid sick time 12 paid holidays per year Casual office attire Company outings and events #J-18808-Ljbffr
