Vice President of Supply Chain Operations - Remote | WFH

As the Vice President of Supply Chain Operations, you will play a pivotal role in influencing strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing efficiency, reducing costs, and elevating customer satisfaction globally. Reporting directly to the Global President, your responsibilities will involve overseeing and strategizing the entire supply chain process.

Responsibilities

Develop and manage short, mid, and long-term goals and objectives.

Maintain insights into market trends and key vendor relationships.

Establish benchmarks and metrics, including routine scorecards to identify improvement opportunities.

Collaborate with operational management to achieve strategic procurement objectives.

Identify and cultivate relationships with suppliers capable of meeting business needs in cost, quality, and service.

Lead supplier development and manage the strategic supply base.

Stay informed about competitive trends to ensure competitive supply solutions.

Drive talent management initiatives within the procurement team.

Implement and leverage best-in-class procurement tools and automation.

Strategically optimize 3PL partnerships for enhanced integration and efficiency.

Implement best practices for supplier performance evaluation and risk management.

Oversee ERP implementation related to supply chain operations.

Advocate for continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Foster a cooperative and cohesive team culture.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.

10+ years of progressive experience in supply chain management within the consumer products industry.

Expertise in managing third-party logistics partnerships.

Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, inventory management, and logistics.

Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Strategic thinker with a data-driven approach to problem-solving.

Ability to thrive in ambiguous situations and navigate complex challenges.

Preferred: Proficiency in Spanish.
