Position Overview
As the Vice President of Supply Chain Operations, you will play a pivotal role in driving strategic initiatives aimed at optimizing efficiency, reducing costs, and enhancing customer satisfaction across multiple business units globally. Reporting directly to the leadership team, you will spearhead the strategic planning and coordination of our supply chain efforts.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute short, mid, and long-term goals and objectives.
Maintain deep insights into market trends and key vendor relationships.
Establish benchmarks and metrics to drive continuous improvement.
Lead procurement efforts to align with strategic directives and enhance operational efficiency.
Identify and cultivate relationships with new and existing suppliers to meet business needs.
Oversee strategic supply base management and supplier development initiatives.
Drive the implementation of best practices in procurement tools and automation.
Optimize 3PL partnerships to ensure seamless integration and operational efficiency.
Implement robust supplier performance evaluation and risk management protocols.
Lead ERP implementation related to supply chain operations.
Advocate for a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement.
Foster a collaborative and cohesive team environment.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
10+ years of progressive experience in supply chain management, ideally within consumer products or similar industries.
Expertise in managing third-party logistics partnerships.
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, inventory management, and logistics.
Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams in dynamic environments.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Strategic thinker with a data-driven approach to problem-solving.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment.
Preferred
Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
