Position Overview
As the Vice President of Supply Chain Operations, you will drive strategic initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and elevate customer satisfaction across multiple global business units. Reporting directly to the Global President of our Consumer Products Division, you will oversee and optimize our entire supply chain operations.
Responsibilities
Set and manage short, mid, and long-term goals and objectives.
Maintain market insights and vendor relationships, driving continuous improvement through metrics and benchmarks.
Collaborate closely with operational management to achieve strategic directives.
Identify and cultivate new suppliers aligned with business needs for cost, quality, and service.
Lead strategic supplier development and management.
Stay updated on competitive trends to ensure competitive supply solutions.
Drive talent management initiatives within Procurement.
Implement best-in-class procurement tools and automation.
Optimize 3PL partnerships for seamless integration and efficiency.
Establish best practices for supplier performance evaluation and risk management.
Oversee ERP implementation for supply chain operations.
Advocate for continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Foster a collaborative and cooperative team culture.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
10+ years of progressive experience in supply chain management within consumer products and global distribution.
Expertise in third-party logistics coordination.
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, inventory management, and logistics.
Proven leadership of cross-functional teams in dynamic environments.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Strategic thinker with a data-driven approach to problem-solving.
Ability to thrive in ambiguity and navigate complex challenges.
