Vice President of Supply Chain

A leader in the healthcare industry is seeking an experienced Vice President of Supply Chain that will lead and be pivotal in optimizing supplier processes and strategically managing resources, while unlocking unprecedented cost savings and efficiency. You will transform the very backbone of the supply logistics to preemptively align with cutting-edge business forecasts and innovations.

Responsibilities

• Develop strategic souring initiatives ensuring a multi-source supply strategy and adopt to accommodate a multi year forecast without supply interruptions
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with key suppliers to secure preferential terms, ensure supply continuity, and foster innovation
• Develop and maintain an enterprise and site-specific logistics program, providing vendor management of the major couriers and ensuring shipping contracts and operations are optimized in practice.
• Responsible for the ERP implementation for all items pertaining to supply chain
• Lead supply chain-related systems and software, ensuring efficient management of critical information and enhancing operational efficiency

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field preferred
• Experience in a manufacturing organization
• Experience in a healthcare organization
• Experience with regulatory bodies such as the FDA, DEA, OSHA, etc., preferred.
• Experience in a cGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) environment with relevant knowledge
