We are looking for a highly motivated Strategic Sales executive with extensive sales experience. We are looking for a highly motivated and results driven revenue generator, and hunter to identify new client partners in sports. We are looking for an executive to help drive revenue growth by identifying, prospecting, and closing deals with sports organizations, including professional teams, leagues, federations, and collegiate programs. This role requires a deep understanding of both technology and the sports industry, as well as exceptional communication and negotiation skills.


Responsibilities

The following and other duties may be assigned as necessary:

  • Refine and implement a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue targets and expand market share within the sports industry.
  • Identify and qualify opportunities within sports organizations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within target accounts.
  • Conduct presentations and demonstrations to showcase Next League’s value proposition to build technology solutions that drive business outcomes for our client partners.
  • Successfully move opportunities from qualification to proposal, and then close.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements to close deals in a timely manner.
  • Stay current on industry trends, competitive offerings, and customer needs to constantly identify and connect with new client partners.

  • Proven track record of success in technology and consultative sales, with a focus on selling to sports organizations.
  • Deep understanding of the sports industry, including its dynamics, trends, and key players.
  • An intimate understanding of strategic product thinking and its impact on business outcomes
  • Strong network of contacts within sports organizations, particularly at the executive level.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to identify opportunities, develop sales strategies, and execute plans to achieve objectives.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and prospects.

Location/Work Hours

This role is 100% remote.


Travel Requirements

This position is expected to travel 50% of the time.
