Vice President of Software Engineering

Our client is a well-funded Bay Area Startup, having recently raised over $30M, and is at the forefront of secure data analytics and confidential AI.

We are seeking a strategic Head of Software Engineering to join their team, who has expertise managing high-performing on and offshore engineering teams to deliver enterprise SaaS products.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years overall experience in Series A-D stage startups as well as inside enterprise B2B SaaS corporations.
• 5+ years leading and building high-performing software engineering teams, both onshore and offshore.
• Must have 2+ years building modern enterprise SaaS products related to AI, ML, data science and analytics.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with proven ability to build, operationalize, and optimize enterprise applications.
• Ability to drive innovation while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.
• Passion for data privacy, security, and the application of the latest AI technologies.
• Location and Work Environment: Ideal location would be in the San Francisco Bay Area with ability to work onsite 1-2 days per week in their offices based in SF. Open to other US locations with ability to travel for collaboration as needed.
• Education: BS in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related subject from top university or college. Graduate degrees preferred.

Compensation: $260K - $300K base (Or competitive base salary) + excellent benefits & significant pre-IPO equity package.
