Liquibase is hiring a Vice President of Sales to enhance our database change management product. The ideal candidate has a passion and dedication for sales with experience in high tech software. They are excited to work alongside developers to build, improve, and deliver significant product enhancements that solve challenging problems in the database DevOps & CI/CD space.

What you'll be doing:

  • Deliver topline revenue and grow the business
  • Create raving Liquibase fans out of our customers and stakeholders
  • Partner with marketing, product and engineering teams to deliver significant value to customers and the community
  • Identify and land new revenue opportunities, including new markets, strategic partnerships, and products
  • Hire, develop and support best in class sales and development talent
  • Develop and drive to predictable revenue budgets, forecasts, and performance metrics
  • Provide strategic guidance to the company's senior leadership team
  • Monitor and analyze market trends and competitors to inform revenue strategies
  • Continuously improve revenue processes and systems to maximize efficiency and effectiveness

Must Haves:

  • 10+ years of experience in Sales leadership in enterprise selling to new customers and product led sales
  • Minimum 5+ years as the head of sales where you worked closely with executive leadership team and led sales team through significant growth
  • Experience leading and growing high-performance teams in fast-paced organizations including remote teams
  • Proven leadership and ability to drive process in a creative environment

  • Experience working with open-source projects and communities
