We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Sales to lead our sales team and drive revenue growth.


Role Description:

The Vice President of Sales will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to achieve company goals and objectives. This role requires a visionary leader with a proven track record in sales leadership, particularly within either industrial coatings, aerospace & defense, or medical device industries. The VP of Sales will partner with the Chief Executive Officer and Tide Rock to align sales efforts with the company's strategic direction and ensure customer satisfaction.


What you’ll do:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to drive revenue growth and market expansion.
  • Expand market share with existing customers and while also growing new customer base in proven market segments.
  • Utilize knowledge of industry and customer needs to develop compelling value propositions that enable SpecCoat to successfully continue to sell superior capabilities over price
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including new markets, partnerships, and customer segments.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and industry stakeholders.
  • Develop and execute pricing strategies that align with the value delivered to customers.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to understand customer needs, competitive landscape, and pricing trends.
  • Develop pricing models and tools to support decision-making and pricing execution.
  • Train and support the sales team on value-based pricing principles and tactics.
  • Develop KPIs, processes, and tools to drive sales volume and velocity, customer penetration and profitability, profit margin, price realization and other metrics
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team, fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring achievement of sales targets.
  • Prepare and present sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports to the executive team.
  • Drive continuous improvement in sales processes, tools, and techniques.


What we’re looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum of 10 years of sales experience, with at least 3 years in a senior sales leadership role within industrial coatings, aerospace & defense, or medical device industries
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Experience in a high growth environment with a track record of success
  • Understanding of conformal coating technologies and applications would be helpful, but not necessary
  • Results-driven with a strong sense of urgency.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and translate strategies into actionable plans.
  • Proficient in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
  • Collaborative team player with a customer-centric mindset.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism.
