Vice President of Sales

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented VP Sales to lead our client's Animal Health Radiology business in the US. In this critical role, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive sales strategy to drive significant growth and market share expansion. You will lead a high-performing team of sales representatives, ensuring exceptional customer service and building strong relationships with key distributors and veterinary practices.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to achieve ambitious revenue growth targets for the US market.
  • Lead, coach, and mentor a team of regional sales representatives, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key distributors and veterinary practice groups.
  • Oversee the development and execution of effective sales and marketing programs to drive product awareness and demand.
  • Manage pricing strategies, promotions, and proposals to maximize profitability.
  • Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to identify new market opportunities and competitive threats.
  • Analyze sales data and reports to identify trends and develop data-driven sales strategies.
  • Represent the company at industry events and trade shows.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the animal health market and customer needs.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a leadership role within the medical device or animal health industry, with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
  • Extensive experience in managing and motivating high-performing sales teams.
  • In-depth knowledge of the animal health radiology market and sales channels in the US.
  • Strong understanding of veterinary practice workflows and decision-making processes.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Strategic thinking and analytical capabilities.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute successful sales strategies.
  • Strong leadership skills with a focus on coaching and development.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
