Our AI startup client is in growth mode and are seeking a VP of Sales to join their team. The VP of Sales is responsible for leading and driving the sales strategy, ensuring the achievement of sales targets through the development and implementation of efficient processes and a high-performing sales team. They play a pivotal role in shaping the company's revenue growth and market presence by fostering client relationships and leveraging data-driven insights to optimize sales performance.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Sales Leadership: Develop and implement a dynamic sales strategy that ensures significant revenue growth and expansion of market share. Spearhead the evolution of the sales organization, encompassing direct sales, sales operations, and customer success teams.
  • Achieve sales targets with high precision through a data-driven approach, accurately forecasting revenue.
  • Develop a data-driven sales process that effectively qualifies deals.
  • Maximize the use of automation technologies to minimize the time spent on deals from initiation to closure.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strategic relationships with key customers, enhancing company position in the market and fostering long-term growth.
  • Team Development: Build a culture of high performance, data driven, within the sales team.
  • Mentor and lead by example to inspire excellence and professional growth among team members.
  • Market Intelligence: Keep abreast of industry trends, competitive dynamics, and technological advancements to make informed strategic decisions.



Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, or a related field; MBA strongly preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in sales leadership, ideally within the AI, BI, or statistics domain.
  • Experience in the technology or SaaS sectors is a must.
  • Experience as a Product Leader - a huge advantage.
  • Background in Statistical analysis, A/B testing, Data driven forecasting.
