Position Overview:
Our client, a premier provider of both international and domestic freight services, is seeking an innovative Business Development Director to drive growth in their international air and ocean freight services.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Sales Leadership: Develop and execute strategic sales plans to drive revenue growth and expand market share in international forwarding (Air & Ocean).
Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and relationship-building with prospective clients.
Client Relationship Management: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, understanding their logistics needs and delivering tailored solutions.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including operations, warehousing, and transportation, to ensure seamless execution of both inbound and outbound freight services.
Market Intelligence: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to shape sales strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
Proposal and Contract Management: Prepare and present proposals, negotiate contracts, and align pricing with company objectives and profitability targets.
Performance Reporting: Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on sales performance, market trends, and business development initiatives.

Proven Success: Demonstrated track record in business development roles within the logistics industry, specifically focusing on international air & ocean freight services.
