Founded in the mid 1960's our client is a national engineering firm that provides consulting services to civil and structural engineering firms and construction companies on their projects for site protection and employee safety. Given our client's diverse expertise, client base and geographic reach they helped customers globally with their project to insure they meet rigid safety and protection laws globally.
This role will be primarily remote and will need to travel up to 50% of the time.
The VP of Sales will be responsible for overseeing a team of 5-6 sales professionals with the plan to grow to 10 people in the near future – the sales team is located across the US. This role will have a focus on growing out their protection and safety consulting revenue.
This person will be a manager/builder, rather than an individual contributor. If the VP of Sales desires, they can sell but managing the pipeline, growing revenue, and clients is the focus.
Experience:
10+ years of sales, with a focus on managing.
Prior sales and management experience required.
Industry experience, Engineering or Construction is a plus but not a requirement.
A sales professional with an engineering background is highly preferred.
Compensation $175.0K base salary plus significant bonus potential based on performance.
