Summary

The Vice President of Sales & Revenue Operations will be responsible for executing the revenue programs across the organization to deliver predictable and profitable revenue through disciplined cross-functional processes and cadences. This leader will optimize programs and resources that deliver the GTM strategy, champion process innovation, and have a continuous improvement mindset to build discipline and motivate high performing teams. The right candidate will also have a hands-on approach and a proven track-record of process discipline, sales operations leadership, contract management, sales compensation management, and overall commercial operations excellence. This position will report to the SVP, Sales and Revenue Operations.


Responsibilities

  • Drive and foster high collaboration and accountability across the organization to deliver financial, contract performance, and operational goals aligned to the GTM strategy
  • Strategize and partner with key stakeholders to deliver the One USIC model aligning people, processes, and technologies that advance high growth areas
  • Serve as a liaison between different teams, facilitating communication, coordination, and clarity on revenue-focused initiatives
  • Advance processes and discipline in sales compensation initiatives, aligned to organizational, team, and individual goals. Partner with HR to design, implement, and execute a strong Sales Incentive Plan strategy
  • Lead and own Process Governance for revenue-focused initiatives, driving buy-in across teams and functions – championing clearly defined processes and engagement
  • Develop and manage KPIs and training of key metrics to support adoption of best practices and behaviors to better enable and motivate team to be successful
  • Maximize use of industry best practices and tools; leverage data from disparate enterprise systems to help develop sales strategies, support QBRs, glean industry insights, and ensure alignment with the organization's overall strategy

  • Provide detailed dashboard reporting to the executive leadership team. Understand and incorporate viewpoints from all key stakeholders to drive decision making
  • Update business leaders on strategies and capabilities required to drive organizational growth and meet established goals for revenue, margin, and market share
  • Partner with Marketing to design, upgrade, implement and manage sales and marketing best practices, processes, reporting, and execution plans that reflects goals and objectives for growth, service offerings, key account planning, and better customer management
  • Partner with IT to leverage technology tools to drive and track sales leads and enable a data backed approach to capture and enhance customer satisfaction


Requirements

  • 10+ years’ experience with demonstrated success in successfully lead sales or revenue operations processes at the enterprise level
  • A best-in-class communicator who brings process rigor to sales, operations, finance, marketing, and other support teams together around the customer
  • Strong business acumen and a commercial track record as well as an organizational command to develop and influence positive change
  • Capable of working across business segments, demonstrating the flexibility to adapt and communicate to a diverse matrixed organization, a partner to all functions
  • Self-motivated, delivering to performance commitments and having an urgency around profitable growth
  • Comfortable with complex situations, highly competent in breaking down the big picture into meaningful details and action plans
  • Experience with Salesforce required, Pardot/Account Engagement and Power BI preferred
  • Revenue or sales operations experience required, additional experience with marketing operations or product management preferred
  • Background in service industries, utility or infrastructure-related fields preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience required; advanced degree preferred
  • Travel up to 50%
