About The Role:

As our VP of Research & Development (R&D), you'll have the unique opportunity to help shape the future of our product portfolio and propel innovation that sets new industry standards. You will lead a world-class team dedicated to pioneering new products while refining our existing lineup, driving initiatives characterized by creativity, speed, collaboration, and a relentless pursuit of excellence.

In this role, you will oversee the entire product development lifecycle, from conceptualization to market launch, ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality while also delighting our consumers. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional partners, including marketing, strategy, and supply chain, to ensure cohesive product development leads to successful commercialization. What You'll Be Doing:

• Oversee the entire product development lifecycle, aligning our offerings with Feastables' business strategy, the excitement of the MrBeast brand, and our overall sustainability objectives
• Cultivate a dynamic team culture that prizes rapid innovation, fearless collaboration, and the relentless pursuit of product perfection
• Work closely across marketing, strategy, sales, and other departments to ensure a cohesive approach to product development and launch strategies
• Drive the adoption of new technologies and methodologies within the R&D process to enhance product innovation and development efficiency
• Manage R&D budget, resource allocation, and project prioritization
• Serve as a key industry thought leader, staying ahead of market trends, consumer preferences, and competitive dynamics to guide strategic decision-making
• Travel often to co-manufacturing sites to gain insights into production capabilities, own line activations and set product standards while building stronger partnerships
• Integrate sustainable practices throughout the product development process, from sourcing eco-friendly ingredients to minimizing environmental impact in production and packaging
  
  

Recipe For Success:

• A minimum of 10+ years of leadership experience in R&D, preferably within the food, confectionary, or chocolate sector of the CPG industry
• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Engineering, or a related field; an advanced degree (MS, PhD, MBA) is highly preferred
• Demonstrated track record of leading successful product development from ideation through to market launch
• Strong analytical abilities, capable of navigating complex challenges and transforming insights into actionable, innovative product strategies
• Exceptional leadership and team-building abilities, capable of motivating and developing a high-performing R&D team
• Skilled in project management, with a keen understanding of the technical, regulatory, and commercial aspects of product development
• Exceptional communication skills, capable of leading conversations for both internal teams and external partners
• A bias toward action, especially within a lean team and fast-paced environment
• Commitment to sustainability and creating environmentally responsible products
