Job Summary:
We are actively seeking a highly skilled and strategic VP of Real Estate to spearhead the growth and optimization of our company's store real estate portfolio. As a pivotal member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in shaping and executing our real estate strategy for sustained success.
Major Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership: Provide visionary leadership in the development and execution of the company's real estate strategy, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives
Team Management: Lead and inspire a high-performing real estate team, fostering a collaborative and results-driven culture
Deal Management: Oversee the negotiation of complex contracts and leases, ensuring compliance with corporate real estate criteria
Innovation and Growth: Drive the development of innovative growth strategies, including non-mall concepts and potential acquisitions
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with various departments, including Marketing, Finance, Operations, and Merchandise, to ensure seamless execution of real estate strategies
Committee Participation: Serve as a key member on Real Estate and New Store Growth Committees, presenting and coordinating deals for approval
Financial Oversight: Manage and maintain the capital budget, ensuring approvals and authorizations are complete
Position Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degree preferred
Years of Job-Related Experience: 15 years of progressive leadership experience in commercial real estate, with a proven track record of success.
Technical/Other Skills:
Proficient in Excel, SAP experience preferred, Alteryx & Tableau desired
Highly proficient in financial analysis development pro formas
Strong negotiation skills and ability to foster collaborative relationships
