Job Title: Vice President of Project Management, Electrical Delivery

Reports to: Chief Operating Officer


Job Summary:

WRH, Inc. is seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Project Management to lead our Project Management department. This role is critical for strategic planning, resource allocation, and process improvement to ensure successful project delivery. The Vice President will oversee a team of Project Managers, Project Engineers, and Project Coordinators, driving projects to completion on time, within budget, and in line with project documents and company standards.


Duties/Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership:

  • Develop and implement the strategic vision for the Project Management department.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the Project Management team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Set clear objectives and expectations for the team, providing guidance and support to achieve departmental and company goals.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
  • Ensure alignment of project management practices with organizational objectives.

Project Oversight:

  • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple projects concurrently.
  • Oversee the entire project life cycle from initiation to completion, ensuring scope, schedule, and budget adherence.
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to senior management.
  • Monitor project budgets and financial performance, taking corrective actions as necessary to maintain profitability.

Team Management:

  • Supervise and mentor Project Managers, Project Engineers, and Project Coordinators.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback and development opportunities.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment.

Process Improvement:

  • Continuously evaluate and improve project management processes and tools.
  • Implement best practices and ensure adherence to industry standards.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and issues.

Client and Stakeholder Management:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients and stakeholders.
  • Facilitate communication between project teams, clients, and other stakeholders.
  • Address and resolve client concerns and issues promptly.

Resource Allocation:

  • Allocate resources efficiently across projects to maximize productivity and efficiency.
  • Manage departmental budgets and ensure optimal use of financial resources.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and project management software (e.g., Procore).

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • A minimum of ten years of experience in project management, with at least five years in a leadership role.
  • Extensive experience in construction project management is highly preferred.
