About the Job

As the VP of Professional Services, you will lead our professional services team, ensuring the successful implementation and adoption of client's bookkeeping and payroll solutions for their clients. You will be responsible for driving P&L success, customer satisfaction, managing project timelines, and delivering high-quality services that align with our strategic objectives. The ideal candidate is a seasoned leader with extensive experience in professional services within the technology or hospitality industry, strong project management skills, and a customer-centric approach.


What You Will Do

● Lead and manage the professional services team, including project managers, consultants, and support staff.

● Develop and implement strategies for successful customer onboarding, implementation, and adoption of client’s bookkeeping and payroll solutions.

● Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

● Collaborate with sales and account management teams to understand client needs and ensure alignment with service delivery.

● Drive continuous improvement in service delivery processes and methodologies.

● Foster a culture of excellence, accountability, and professional growth within the team.

● Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, acting as a trusted advisor.

● Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to service delivery and customer satisfaction.

● Oversee the development and delivery of training programs for clients and internal teams.

● Manage resource allocation and capacity planning to meet project demands.


What You Need

• BS required and MS/MBA preferred

• PMP and/or six sigma certification a plus

• 8 years of proven experience as a VP of Professional Services or in a similar senior leadership role within the technology or hospitality industry.

• 5 years in a leadership capacity managing teams of solutions technicians and project managers

• Strong project management skills with a track record of delivering complex projects successfully.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong customer service orientation with a focus on delivering value and satisfaction.

• Ability to think strategically and align professional services with broader business goals.

• Experience with bookkeeping, payroll, or ERP systems is a plus.
