Overview: As the Vice President of Procurement, you will lead and oversee all aspects of procurement activities within our organization. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Strategic Leadership:

• Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with organizational goals and objectives.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize procurement processes and enhance operational efficiency.
• Lead cross-functional teams to support strategic sourcing and procurement activities.

Contract Negotiations:

• Lead contract negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms, pricing, and service level agreements.
• Ensure contracts are comprehensive, compliant, and mitigate potential risks.
• Manage vendor relationships to foster long-term partnerships and drive value for the organization.

Supplier Relationship Management:

• Implement best practices for supplier selection, evaluation, and performance management.
• Monitor supplier performance metrics and address issues promptly to ensure adherence to contractual obligations.

Implementing Growth Strategy:

Risk Management:

• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and ethical standards in procurement practices.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience: Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in procurement, with at least 5 years in a leadership role overseeing procurement functions.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Process, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• Skills:
• Proven track record in contract negotiations and supplier relationship management.
• Experience transitioning from tolling to turnkey procurement
• Must have experience within Consumer Health Care or FMCG; Experience in the dietary supplements industry with an understanding of the nutraceutical manufacturing landscape would be a huge plus
• Deep understanding of both Procurement and Operations with a combination of functional experiences in Manufacturing, Supply, and Procurement
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems.
