Vice President of People

Overview

Position Summary :

  • This is a senior leadership role that will lead and manage People Operations, Total Rewards, and People Information Systems. It will help deliver vision, strategy, development and execution of People team programs that support our People First Culture. 

Responsibilities :

  • Serve as a key advisor to the Leader of People and act as a valued contributor to the People Leadership Team.
  • Oversee People Operations, Total Rewards, and People Information Systems functions.   
  • Assess emergent trends in people administration to proactively implement initiatives that fulfill current and future demands of the business.
  • In collaboration with Leader of People, navigate people risk mitigation strategy through compliance initiatives, administration of employee relations, and construction of policies and procedures. 
  • Recommend compensation and total rewards plans that support People Pillars to attract and retain remarkable talent.
  • Develop continuous improvement strategies that improve People outcomes and metrics.
  • Partner with leadership to support a world class hybrid/on premise work environment utilizing strategic and innovative people and talent solutions. 
  • Lead the continuous evaluation and evolution of People Information Systems.
  • Maintain knowledge of industry trends and federal, state and local employment requirements and ensures compliance, consults with legal counsel as appropriate .
  • Work with the Leader of People to continuously improve corporate efficiency and effectiveness; drive growth and savings; and cultivate a departmental and corporate culture focused on company and team values.
  • Exemplify trust and culture building leadership, building deep trust with through honest and transparent communication and leadership.
  • Manage and coach team to success on strategy, tactics and culture consistent with Milo’s strategic systems and culture of People First, HAT and Authentic Leadership. 
  • Foster a culture of high performance, accountability, and continuous learning. 
  • Upholds and demonstrates leadership in all Corporate Responsibility programming including recycling, social advocacy and MMAD volunteering opportunities. 
  • This position has Food Safety Responsibilities.

Qualifications :

  • BS/BA required
  • MBA or Advanced Executive degree or certification from accredited institution (preferred)
  • 15 or more years of proven success
  • Strong industry knowledge
