We’re seeking an experienced professional with 5-10+ years in senior-level operations, preferably in retail or clinic settings. You’re an entrepreneurial leader with strong financial acumen, strategic thinking, and exceptional communication skills. Your blend of operational expertise, financial savvy, and leadership will be key to our success and innovation in pet care.
What You’ll Do
In this role, you’ll be a pivotal leader with a people and pet-first mindset, responsible for driving operational excellence and shaping our future. You’ll develop clinic-level leaders, create exceptional pet and pet owner experiences, and spearhead growth initiatives. Your role encompasses implementing standards, overseeing services and products, and ensuring financial success through strategic planning and risk management. As a brand ambassador, you’ll engage with local communities, integrating our business seamlessly. Your leadership will be crucial in recruiting and developing talent, maintaining high quality pet care services, and fostering team growth. You’ll also participate in strategic planning, budgeting, and policy development, crafting a compelling vision that motivates our field clinic teams and propels MySimplePet™Express forward in the pet care industry.
Requirements
+5-10 years of operations experience at a senior level, including overseeing retail, franchise and/or clinic locations
Proven experience overseeing multi-unit locations (more than 20)
Entrepreneurial spirit, thrives in a fast-paced environment
Proven leadership and management skills with a track record of setting and achieving goals
Strong analytical, decision-making, and communication skills
Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work full-time, including variable hours
Physically able to perform job duties, including lifting up to 50 lbs
PIMS familiarity and clinic reporting experience (preferred)
Key Responsibilities
Operational Management: Operate large and complex clinic operations, implement and maintain operational standards, and oversee services and products
Financial Management: Drive fiscal success focusing on optimizing sales and controlling costs, develop strategic financial plans that support operational improvements and facilitate a seamless expansion into new markets. Ensure a sustainable growth of clinics, anticipate and manage financial risks, and commit to continous improvement in financial processes
Team Management: Recruit, develop, and counsel clinic leadership and staff, maintain effective communication channels, ensure policy compliance, and serve as a human resources consultant
Customer and Community Engagement: Promote brand presence and values, and integrate business with the community
Quality Assurance: Maintain clinic standards and monitor the quality, quantity, and pricing systems for clinic services in partnership with finance and medical leadership
Safety and Security: Implement and enforce security procedures, and follow safe work practices. Training and Development: Develop, implement and monitor clinic training programs, and foster a collaborative and supportive team environment
Strategic Planning: Participate in strategic planning, annual budgets and policy development, and assist in potential site identification and contract negotiation
