Position Overview: Based in our corporate office in Southlake, you will play a key role in overseeing all aspects of our maintenance operations. From managing a team of skilled technicians to implementing preventive maintenance and repair programs, your leadership will be essential in ensuring the reliability and safety of our fleet. While tank truck experience is preferred, it is not required. We value diverse perspectives and are committed to providing training and support to help you succeed in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and mentor a team of Region Maintenance and facility managers along with a skilled team of 50+ maintenance technicians, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Develop and implement maintenance policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
Collaborate with other departments to optimize fleet performance and minimize downtime.
Oversee the procurement and inventory management of parts and supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels while controlling costs.
Analyze maintenance data and metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement, driving operational efficiency and cost savings.
Qualifications:
Proven leadership experience in a senior or mid-level maintenance role in the tractor trailer transportation industry.
Strong technical knowledge of maintenance practices and procedures, with the ability to troubleshoot and solve complex problems.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Must be expert in Department of Transportation rules and regulations in regards to maintenance and repair record keeping and compliance for audit purposes.
Experience in transportation management dispatch and/or maintenance systems. (We currently utilize TMW & TMT.
Tank truck experience is preferred, but not required.
