Role Summary:

The Vice President of Loan Originations is pivotal in leading our rapidly expanding sales and operations teams. We are in search of a visionary leader who exemplifies excellence and is prepared to tackle the challenges of a fast-paced startup environment. This role demands a proactive approach, offering guidance and setting benchmarks for success, ensuring both business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-consumer (B2C) operations excel in efficiency and customer satisfaction.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic leadership to the sales team, fostering a culture of excellence in service and customer experience.
  • Set and achieve realistic yet ambitious goals/KPIs aligned with the company's strategic objectives.
  • Optimize sales team performance, ensuring targets are met through effective management and operational efficiency.
  • Proactively identify and address process gaps, streamlining operations to enhance productivity.
  • Conduct regular team meetings and one-on-one sessions to mentor and develop team members.
  • Lead recruitment efforts, nurturing talent within a multi-state operational scope.
  • Implement training programs on best practices for sales, loan origination, and customer engagement.
  • Embody and promote a culture of extraordinary customer service, serving as a role model for the team.
  • Foster a performance-oriented environment through targeted coaching and skill development.
  • Develop and maintain transparent reporting mechanisms for senior management.



Requirements:

  • 6-10 years of experience in the loan origination process, with a comprehensive understanding of industry best practices.
  • 2-4 years in a leadership role, with a track record of managing high-performing sales teams.
  • Demonstrated expertise in strategic planning, pipeline management, and achieving sales targets within a regulated financial environment.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Agility in navigating a dynamic work environment, managing time efficiently across various priorities.
  • Proven ability to mentor and inspire team members towards achieving personal and professional goals.
  • In-depth knowledge of mortgage lending laws and regulations.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience working with diverse teams and fostering an inclusive workplace.
  • High level of initiative, attention to detail, and organizational prowess.
  • Enthusiasm for embracing and adapting to evolving technology.
