We are seeking a visionary leader who will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our business by spearheading efforts to define and execute a comprehensive digital transformation strategy. This critical role will enhance the daily operations of our company and drive our ambitious growth targets.

The VP of Digital Transformation will be at the forefront of this transformation, leading the charge in defining how we utilize technology to achieve our revenue goal of $1B.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


Leadership and Strategy

  1. Develop and execute the IT and data management strategy in alignment with the company's overall business objectives.
  2. Identify and implement innovative technologies to enhance business processes and drive growth.
  3. Lead, mentor, and manage a team of IT professionals, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  4. Collaborate with senior management to identify technology needs and opportunities for enhancing business processes and customer experiences.
  5. Manage relationships with technology vendors and service providers to ensure cost-effective and high-quality service delivery.
  6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to drive technology initiatives and achieve business goals.
  7. Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and adherence to financial targets.


IT Network and Systems Management

  1. Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the company’s IT infrastructure to ensure reliability, security, and scalability.
  2. Evaluate and implement new technologies and systems to support business growth and operational efficiency.
  3. Oversee the implementation and management of various business applications, including Salesforce, TM1, Workday, PDM, SolidWorks, and Epicor.


Development Office Management

  1. Manage the development office in Hyderabad, India, focusing on data architecture and the development of a centralized data warehouse.
  2. Ensure effective communication and collaboration between the development office and other business units.
  3. Travel to Hyderabad on a quarterly basis to oversee development projects and ensure alignment with business goals.


Data Management and AI Development

  1. Ensure robust data management practices, including data development, data architecture, and data governance.
  2. Direct the development of custom applications and software solutions that support business operations and customer needs.
  3. Implement DevOps practices to streamline the software development lifecycle, enhance collaboration, and increase deployment efficiency.
  4. Develop and execute a comprehensive data strategy to leverage data as a strategic asset.
  5. Oversee data analytics initiatives to derive actionable insights, improve decision-making, and enhance customer experiences.
  6. Lead the integration of AI technologies to optimize operational processes and enhance product capabilities.


SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:

This position has direct reports.


POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience leading and managing teams, driving change, and overseeing complex projects from inception to implementation.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Thorough understanding of information technology procedures and practices.


REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree, in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of (10) years of proven experience in an IT leadership role, driving automation, AI, and business transformation initiatives (i.e. data development, data architect and DevOps).
  • Proven experience in a manufacturing or similar environment, with a strong understanding of retail manufacturing processes.
  • Expertise in AI technologies and their application in manufacturing and product development.
  • Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and cloud technologies.
