A Digital Health company operating in the Health Plan software sales space is looking for a VP to join their exciting journey! The ideal candidate will have great experience selling software into senior individuals in the payer space, being able to own the full cycle from lead generation through to the closing of contracts. Having previous experience of selling and/or implementing complex solutions/services to independent physician groups and/or health systems. A good knowledge of payment models and experience, they will also have proven success selling to or managing relationships within multiple layers of an organisation, from Director to C-Suite levels. As an early-stage business, you will play a key role in defining and shaping go-to-market strategy and building a sustainable and scalable sales model.
Responsibilities:
- Report to the C-Suite leaders on performance, developing and executing strategies to sell into complex healthcare environments in a GTM strategy and commercial vision for the business.
- Having ‘Hunter’ mentality, identifying key new business opportunities.
- Establishes and leverages relationships with prospective C-level individuals and senior management of payers. Serving as the primary point of contact among all buyers, decision makers, and influencers.
- At least 8+ years of healthcare experience, including at least 5 years working in Payer/Employment markets (Preferred).
- Participates in communicating and educating client staff on company products and solutions including business impact, comparative benefits, and best practice deployment and use.
- Strong process orientation - you can successfully bring together and manage a team of experts and resources necessary to lead sales to completion.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of working in healthcare and 5+ Software Sales into Payers/Health Plans/Employer markets.
- Effective lead generation approach which can be implemented immediately.
- Hunter mentality.
- Proven sales record.
- Strong communication skills and willingness to learn new product.
