Vice President of Development

*MUST HAVE BESS/ENERGY STORAGE EXPERIENCE*

Our long-term exclusive partner in the DG space is a full-service IPP in the US. They currently have 2GW in development and over 200MW in operation as of 2024. The team is full of all-hands-on-deck employees who are working towards the common goal of making a difference. Right now they're looking for a dedicated Energy Storage professional at the VP level to lead the division.

Responsibilities:

• Develop market-entry and integration strategies for BESS/Energy storage projects.
• Navigate new business opportunities through networking, existing connections, and relationship building with utilities and communities.
• Effectively map a strategy to build out the Energy Storage division and lead from the front.
• Identify markets that are most viable for these projects, tackle challenges that come with them, and be an Energy Storage SME.
• Build out a team in the next year, train and onboard, and mentor members as the team grows.
• Work with the President and Partners on communicating and executing the build-out strategy.
• Integrate revenue modeling, system integration, and process improvements.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 7 years in project development and recent years in energy storage projects.
• Must have experience with market entry strategies, running a division/team, and working with C-level executives.
• Plus if you've built out a team before from the ground up.
• Experience with BESS projects at the community or small utility-scale.
• Have an entrepreneurial mentality and work ethic.

The compensation package includes base, bonus, and stock options.
