Fuse3 Solutions is partnering with a well-established local company looking to bring on a Vice President of Data Governance. This role is pivotal in establishing and directing the strategic vision for data initiatives.
Responsibilities of Vice President of Data Governance:
Provide direction for implementing the strategic vision for company data.
Establish data strategy to align with business objects.
Lead the organization in data governance for policies, procedures, standards, etc.
Enforce rules for data access, ownerships and setting accountabilities.
Provide insight on data-based decisions
Qualifications of Vice President of Data Governance:
Advanced degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related
10+ years of experience in data management, data strategy, or related
Experience in a senior leadership role directing data strategy and governance
Understanding of data architecture, big data technologies, and business intelligence
Preferred certifications include CIMP, CDMP, DAMA, PMP
