### Job Description: Vice President of Credit Risk Management

#### Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Credit Risk Management to lead our comprehensive Credit Risk programs, with a special focus on innovative spend and payment solutions. This pivotal role will drive B2B Risk Management strategies, mitigating both traditional and non-traditional financial risks to support our company's growth. The ideal candidate will develop and implement risk models, create underwriting policies, and manage collateral for card and lending programs while ensuring compliance and collaboration with key internal stakeholders.

This position is ideally based out of our headquarters in Charlotte, NC, but we are open to virtual candidates (monthly travel to Charlotte, NC required).

#### What You'll Do

  • Provide overall program credit and risk oversight, initially focusing on new card and lending solutions, with a long-term goal of enhancing the Enterprise Risk management practice.
  • Lead innovations in B2B Risk Management, addressing both traditional card/lending risks and non-traditional platform spend leakage risks, supporting profitable business growth.
  • Oversee broad risk management efforts including model development, underwriting decisions, portfolio management, transaction monitoring, delinquency, and collections.
  • Develop and execute program strategy, policy development, and implementation to reduce risk and drive program profitability.
  • Act as a key liaison and thought leader across the company, collaborating with Legal, Compliance, Treasury, and Finance to develop a compliant money movement system that manages company risk and accounting needs.
  • Implement collateral management policies and program management for all card and lending programs.
  • Lead receivables management and collaborate with third-party lenders to set up receivables financing.
  • Work with Fraud Operations and Product teams to establish automated KYC/KYB processes.
  • Leverage lending finance compliance and legal expertise to evaluate legal approaches with internal and external partners.

#### What We're Looking For

  • 10+ years of experience in financial services, specifically in Credit Risk Management.
  • Proven experience in underwriting and transaction monitoring/customer management.
  • Expertise in small business and commercial credit, including credit cards, working capital, and short-term lending.
  • Legal and compliance expertise related to lending programs.
  • Experience in finance and capital markets, with a focus on partnering with internal finance teams on FP&A items and influencing bank and capital markets structuring for lending programs.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey new concepts and collaborate cross-functionally.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven decision-making abilities.

#### Bonus Points

  • Experience with Fraud, Treasury, Factoring, B2B, and Lending.
  • Experience in SaaS and FinTech industries.
