Vice President of Clinical Services, Compliance, and Quality Assurance - Home Health and Hospice
CommuniCare’s Home Health and Hospice divisions are growing and need to add a Home Health and Hospice Vice President of Clinical Services, Compliance, and Quality Assurance to support the immediate growth of start-up branches throughout the Midwest and current operations.
The ideal candidate will be an expert in the ins and outs of the Home Health and Hospice’s initial accreditation processes through CHAP. To reduce start-up costs and stay within the allotted budget, it will be critical for the Vice President to maximize use of the existing internal network of qualified clinicians and employees. The foremost attributes needed for this position are experience with relevant accreditation processes, quality program development, clinical education, and HHVBP. The right fit for this position will have extensive experience with the initial accreditations phases for associated surveys.
PURPOSE/BELIEF STATEMENT
The Home Health and Hospice Vice President of Clinical Services, Compliance, and Quality Assurance will be accountable for providing strategic innovation and operational insights while supporting the CEO’s vision and execution strategy. This position will be vital in supporting the exponential growth of the Home Health and Hospice Division.

Additional Positional Purposes Include
- Provide field insights to the executive leadership with an emphasis on overseeing quality and compliance within the defined service areas to ensure excellence in the care experience of the patients.
- Participate in the general management of the Home Health and Hospice development, application, and assessment of divisional procedures, policies, programs, standards, and services consistent with the mission of providing exceptional in home care.
- Foster an unrelenting focus and climate of urgency that balances the opportunity to transform care delivery with current clinical realities.
- Guide regional teams, fostering collaborative planning, innovation, and decision-making.
- Focus on maximizing operational efficiencies.
- The ability to travel up to 75% of the time (Mileage reimbursement provided).
- Seasoned with Home Health and Hospice Regulations.
- A proven track history with a minimum of 4 years managing clinical reviews within the HH and Hospice field is needed to ensure OASIS and other government regulations are met.
- Prior Home Health and Hospice survey experience is needed. Specifically, full cycle CHAP accreditation experience is preferred.
- Lead the process of formatting the new Home Health and Hospice branches with a stress on the development and achievement of goals while still supporting the continuum of care within the CommuniCare network.
- Facilitate the development and implementation of integrated clinical service delivery platforms across the Home Health division. Ensure the coordination of actions and realization of service efficiencies that drive increased clinical quality, patient safety, and enhanced patient and physician satisfaction and responsiveness to marketplace growth and needs.
- Maintain a working knowledge of applicable Federal, State, and local laws/regulations.
- Clinical degree and relevant work experience
- Active RN clinical license highly preferred
