Summary

The Vice President of Clinical Services is responsible for the strategy, planning, development, implementation, and management of all services in assigned areas of responsibility. The Vice President Clinical Services reports to the Senior Vice President/Chef Operating Officer (COO) and is responsible for the development of quality programs, clinical outcomes, financial outcomes, and new services. Vice President will be responsible for operational and strategic leadership of Radiology, Laboratory, Emergency Services, Ambulance Services, and Pharmacy.

Education/Experience

  • Masters of Business Administration
  • Masters of Healthcare Administration
  • Masters in Related Clinical Field
  • 3 Years Executive Level Experience in Healthcare - or
  • 5 years of leadership experience in business development, strategic planning, managing clinical operations.

License Or Certification Requirements

  • Certification in Healthcare Leadership (Preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Implement high-quality, cost-effective programs in radiology, laboratory, emergency services, ambulance services and pharmacy.
  • Create a sustainable and contemporary service line/center of excellence with medical-administrative leadership dyads having well-defined roles, objectives, and outcomes.
  • Contribute to the goals of the organization by generating new business for the demographic region.
  • Work closely with administration, surgeons and specialists, clinical and financial staff, referring physicians and hospitals, marketing, and related community groups to effectively drive outcomes.
  • Lead the management team overall areas
  • Create and execute a strategic plan
  • Develop systems and processes to improve employee, physician, and patient satisfaction.
  • Effectively analyze complex data, evaluate information and systems, and arrive at effective business decisions.
  • Provide leadership to ensure positive margin growth
  • Develop quality improvement plan
