Vice President of Clinical Operations

A fast-growing biopharmaceutical company based in Massachusetts is looking for an experienced Clinical Operations Leader to join the team. This will be a fully remote position.

This clinical-stage biopharmaceutical client has numerous oncology studies underway, striving to develop next generation immunotherapies that overcome the limitations of existing technologies, including limited efficacy, associated costs and severe side effects.

It is an extremely exciting time to be joining, as this client has recently moved into a brand-new office, made several key senior leadership hires and secured a $30 million Series A funding round.

Responsibilities

Reporting directly to the Chief Medical Officer, the Director/Vice President will lead the conduct of global clinical trials in oncology and viral disease indications. You will be responsible for driving programs forward towards registration. As a result, you have the potential to make a significant difference to the lives of patients suffering from cancer and other devastating diseases.

Additional responsibilities include:

• Providing training and leadership to study personnel
• Selecting, overseeing and managing CROs and other study vendors
• Managing study start-up activities, including site identification and selection, budget negotiation, IRB submission support, and document compilation
• Developing study plans and SOPs
• Ensuring adherence to GCP guidelines, SOPs and applicable regulations

Requirements

To be considered, you must have:

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline; advanced degree preferred
• Strong clinical operations background
• Thorough knowledge of GCP guidelines and applicable regulations
• Enthusiasm to join a fast-paced biotech organization
