We are on a search for a skilled Vice President of Business Development for our client - an international 3PL company in the San Francisco Bay Area specializing in all facets of manufacturing support, warehousing, storage, assembly, reverse logistics, EV products and more. For over 30 years, we have lead the 3PL market with unique and desired supply chain solutions for our B2B and B2C clients. We presently have multiple facilities across the United States and are on target to expand our reach in the coming years.
This is a full-time hybrid role with the expectation that you will develop and grow the business locally, nationally and internationally. The Vice President of Business Development will be responsible for driving the growth of new business, invigorating existing business, developing and executing business plans, managing key accounts and overseeing sales activities.
In addition, you will be expected to help grow a business development team of 10-15 Sales Representatives within a few years to achieve quota busting success!
Qualifications
New Business Development, Business Planning, and Contract Negotiation skills
Sales and Account Management experience
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth
Strong customer relationship management skills
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Ability to analyze market trends and identify business opportunities
Experience in the logistics or supply chain industry is a major plus
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, or a related field
