Vice President of Business Development

Are you a detail-oriented Sales leader with a proven track record of targeting, prospecting, and generating commercial solar leads? While also educating customers, delivering proposals and negotiating contracts within the C&I solar or microgrids industry? Then this opportunity is for you!

You will be responsible for:

• Optimizing sales efficiencies, improving sales processes and accelerating revenue growth through analysis and execution
• Work with lead generation and other team members to foster new and existing relationships for development
• Present solar proposals, financial benefit summaries, and various deal structures to property owners
• Tracking KPI’s, analyzing, reporting and communicating sales activities to executive team
• Accelerate initial conversations with property owners and enhance deal momentum to ensure the timely conversion of pipeline to backlog
• Maintain and expand existing customer relationships through add on capacity and referral opportunities
• Drive negotiations with legal and commercial counterparts and work with internal counsel to execute key legal documents

You will have:

• Bachelor's degree, post graduate degree preferred
• 8+ years of experience in C&I solar business development or microgrids
• Understanding of Northeast energy markets
• Rolodex of industry contacts
