Adecco has partnered with a newly funded Solar Manufacturer specializing in US-made solar panels, and battery panels. They are seeking a full-time, hands-on VP of Business Development to help the founders set up the entire operation. The role will be fully remote with the ability to travel when needed..
The ideal candidate must have 10-15+ years of experience within the renewables space, with knowledge of Government Subsidies, raising funds, subsidies & grants, and knowledge of location subsidies along with an entrepreneurial approach to help set up of the manufacturing plant. This role reports directly to the CEO and also can grow into the President of the company.

Job Requirments
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in management, administration, engineering, supply chain, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years experience in the renewable Energy field
- Experience with fundraising, government subsidies and grants
- Comfortable running a P+L, and speaking with investors
- Able to help research the best cities with the biggest tax breaks to set up the factory location. .
- Willingness to travel on short notice and work non-traditional hours.
- Proven ability to acquire and engage new clients, accounts, and prospects.
- Experience in designing and implementing account development strategies.
- Expertise in understanding clients' needs and reasons for vendor changes.
- Demonstrated success in managing complex contractual negotiations.
- Exceptional negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated, independent, and proactive work ethic.
- Commitment to teamwork, honesty, and meeting commitments.
- Established contacts and relationships within the renewables industry.
