Title: VP of Marketing Intelligence/Analytics

Salary: Up to $230k

Location: Chicago, IL

Hybrid: On-site 1 day a week

Clutch is looking for a VP of Marketing Intelligence/Analytics with agency experience for a client of ours.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive analytics strategy aligned with the organization's overall business objectives.
• Identify and prioritize key business questions and translate them into actionable data projects.
• Champion a data-driven culture throughout the organization, fostering collaboration between analytics and other departments.
• Stay at the forefront of industry trends in analytics technologies and methodologies, advocating for innovation and continuous improvement.

Team Management and Development:

• Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of talented data analysts, data scientists, and business intelligence professionals.
• Recruit, hire, and develop top talent, building a high-performing and diverse analytics team.
• Foster a culture of learning and growth within the team, providing opportunities for professional development.

Data Governance and Infrastructure:

• Develop and implement data governance policies and standards to ensure data quality, security, and accessibility.
• Oversee the selection, implementation, and maintenance of data infrastructure and analytics tools.
• Champion data privacy and security best practices.

Advanced Analytics and Insights:

• Lead the development and execution of advanced analytics projects, leveraging techniques like machine learning, artificial intelligence, and predictive modeling.
• Translate complex data analysis into actionable insights and recommendations for senior leadership.
• Effectively communicate data insights to stakeholders across all levels of the organization, ensuring clear and concise messaging.
• Drive data-driven decision-making across all business functions, optimizing marketing campaigns, improving operational efficiency, and maximizing ROI.

Qualifications:

• 15+ years of experience in analytics leadership, with a proven track record of success in building and managing high-performing data teams.
• Strong understanding of business strategy and a demonstrated ability to translate data insights into actionable business outcomes.
• Deep expertise in advanced analytics methodologies, including machine learning, artificial intelligence, statistical modeling, and econometrics.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to present complex data insights to a wide range of audiences, including senior leadership.
• Experience in developing and implementing data governance policies and standards.
• Proven ability to recruit, hire, and develop top talent in the analytics field.
• Master's degree in statistics, mathematics, computer science, or a related field (preferred).
