Vice President - Advancement

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Advancement to join our team. The ideal candidate will lead our LSS wide fundraising efforts, focusing on securing major gifts and pledges, while managing a team of dedicated professionals.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Major Gift Fundraising: Manage a portfolio of 100-200 prospects, focusing on securing major cash gifts and pledges.
  • People Management: Lead and mentor a team of advancement professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement best practices for fundraising, planned giving, and donor recording.
  • Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with donors, stakeholders, and community partners.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Monitor fundraising performance, providing regular updates and insights to senior leadership.
  • Healthcare Sector Knowledge: While not required, a background in healthcare is beneficial for understanding and aligning with our mission and goals.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years of people management experience.
  • Proven track record in major gift fundraising and donor management.
  • Expertise in fundraising best practices, planned giving, and donor recording systems.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Healthcare background is a plus, but not mandatory.
  • Location – St. Louis, MO or Topton, PA
