Vice President of Accounting

Our client, a prominent public technology company who is a leader in its industry, is looking for a VP of Accounting Operations. This person will be a key leader on the accounting team, reporting directly to the Corporate Controller with responsibility for domestic and international accounting operations including general ledger, payroll, A/P, cash, equity, accruals, debt, fixed assets and associated asset requests. This person will manage a team of 5 direct reports with a full team of close to 25, both domestic and international. The ideal candidate will be a CPA with 12+ years experience in accounting operations, preferably with experience in international and statutory accounting, and must have experience leading large teams. The role is primarily remote, as long as the candidate is available to attend team meetings in the DC area from time to time.
