VP, NETWORK OPERATIONS

Summary:

GSTV is looking for a proven leader to evolve our network operations group in parallel to a significant focus on improving the health of our media network. This role – and group – is essential to maintaining and growing GSTV’s inventory of locations through working with our hardware partners and the rest of the fuel and convenience ecosystem – distributors, managed network service providers, major oil companies, and individual retailers.

As the Vice President of Network Operations, you will become an expert on the technology powering GSTV and build the processes and relationships necessary to improve the network when GSTV does not directly own/control any of the hardware. You will work closely with our engineering, product management, retailer success, and external partners to deliver these results.

It is expected that you will be working at multiple levels within the group – coaching team members, helping resolve technical issues and obstacles that make the team less effective, and contributing to the network health strategy at GSTV. We believe this is the best way for you to understand the group, help evolve the team, and to reinforce culture.

Your success will be measured by

  • Your ability to assess, evolve, and lead the network operations group that delivers improvements to the health and footprint of our network – we have only begun to scratch the surface of the potential ways to improve uptime to drive value for advertisers and retail partners
  • The continued growth and maturation of business capabilities and team members – are we able to successfully complete larger and more complex projects, are we regularly developing team members and moving them to the next stage of their careers

A successful candidate will have prior experience growing and managing network operations teams, a pragmatic approach that balances both vision and business value on multiple time horizons, and a history of guiding transformative projects from conception through completion.
