About The Role

As a Vice President of Strategy, you will play a crucial role in leading the Media Strategy & Innovation functions for a high-profile account. Reporting directly to the EVP, Strategic Intelligence, you will drive strategic development by crafting audience strategies, fostering partner innovation, and overseeing integrated media plan stewardship. Your fresh thinking and innovative approach will ensure a balance between client, agency, and team priorities in both short- and long-term capacities.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership:

  • Oversee all strategic aspects of the assigned business segment(s).
  • Define strategic narratives for integrated media plans, emphasizing audience strategy and innovative media partnerships.
  • Utilize insights from client briefs to shape strategic recommendations aligned with long-term objectives.
  • Cultivate a collaborative environment that drives big ideas and innovation.
  • Manage projects and resources across subsidiaries or business units.

Client Engagement

  • Maintain a deep understanding of the client's business landscape, competitors, and audience dynamics.
  • Act as the primary client interface, fostering positive and productive relationships.
  • Implement best-in-class tools and innovations to deliver media plans that meet client objectives.

Team Development

  • Provide strategic leadership in media strategy and innovation, internally and with clients.
  • Ensure seamless communication and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Lead content development and deliver compelling presentations for client engagements.
  • Participate in special projects and new business initiatives as required.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.), preferably in Marketing, Advertising, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in media planning, with at least 5 years in a management role.
  • Agency experience preferred; retail experience advantageous.
  • Proven success in presenting to senior clients and influencing strategic media decisions.
  • Strong leadership, management, and motivational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, Nielsen Suite, Kantar, and other relevant tools.
  • Budget management experience and strategic planning skills.

Additional Information

All information provided will be handled confidentially in accordance with EEO guidelines.

Compensation Range: $153,000 - $200,000 annually. Actual salary offer will be commensurate with experience and qualifications. Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and generous paid time off.
