Position Overview:
We are seeking an in-house experienced and dynamic VP of Marketing to lead our marketing efforts and drive our brand's growth. The CMO will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that increase brand awareness, drive customer acquisition, and enhance customer retention. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record of success in e-commerce and subscription-based business models.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to achieve business objectives.
- Lead the marketing team, providing direction, mentoring, and support to ensure high performance and professional growth.
- Collaborate with the executive team to align marketing strategies with overall business goals.
- Customer Acquisition and Retention:
- Develop and implement strategies to attract and retain customers, focusing on subscription growth.
- Analyze customer data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Brand Management:
- Oversee the development and execution of branding initiatives to strengthen our market position.
- Ensure brand consistency across all marketing channels and customer touchpoints.
- Digital & Performance Marketing:
- Drive digital & performance marketing efforts, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, social media (paid and organic), and content marketing.
- Optimize the company’s online presence and enhance website user experience to maximize conversion rates.
- Performance Measurement:
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of marketing initiatives.
- Regularly review and report on marketing performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Partnerships and Collaborations:
- Identify and pursue strategic partnerships and collaborations to expand our reach and enhance our offerings.
- Manage relationships with external agencies and vendors to support marketing initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in marketing, with at least 4 years in a senior leadership role. Golf marketing experience, specifically, is a plus!
- Proven experience in e-commerce and subscription-based business models.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing channels and strategies.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze data and market trends to drive informed decision-making.
- Passion for golf and familiarity with the golf industry is a plus.
