DSJ Global is currently partnered with a rapidly growing organization that is looking to head up their Logistics team and grow their strategic sales sector. This individual should be fluent in identifying growth opportunities, and driving improvement with a focus on big and heavy items final mile delivery and LTL consolidation.


Responsibilities of the VP of Sales

  • Forge fresh business connections by comprehending clients' enterprises, pinpointing avenues for growth, and spearheading enhancements, particularly in final mile delivery and LTL consolidation for bulky items.
  • Uphold profitable relationships with existing clientele through adept management and a commitment to quality interactions.
  • Act as the company's representative in strategic negotiations with customers, fostering and nurturing high-level connections with key decision-makers in shipping companies.
  • Foster new sales opportunities within established business networks.
  • Assume leadership throughout the sales cycle, from prospect cultivation and lead generation to qualification, analysis, pricing, contract finalization, launch, and post-award customer support.
  • Mentor sales team members to refine and bolster the necessary skills and competencies for successful deal closure.
  • Evaluate and address challenging scenarios and issues by offering effective solutions.


Minimum Qualifications for the VP of Sales

  • 10 or more years of experience in Logistic Sales or Commercial sales
  • At least 3 years of experience in final mile delivery services
  • Possesses exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, adept at nurturing enduring and impactful business connections.
  • Demonstrates outstanding leadership prowess and proficiency in resolving conflicts.
  • Displays adaptability to changes and can rally teams effectively to accomplish company goals and objectives.
  • Proficient in managing high-volume operations.
