About You

Are you passionate about bridging the gap between a company and its investors? Do you have the skills to articulate a public company's financial and operational performance to the investment community? If you’re looking to join a team dedicated to environmental leadership, Montrose is the place for you.

We offer a remote work environment with a nationally-based team and are seeking an experienced investor relations leader. Your role will be pivotal in maintaining and strengthening relationships with analysts, shareholders, and potential investors. Preference for candidates near Boston, MA; Irvine, CA; Raleigh/Durham, NC.

As our VP of Investor Relations, you will be responsible for crafting communications about our performance, strategies, and market opportunities. You'll need at least 10+ years of experience in finance, accounting, or investor relations, preferably in a publicly-traded company. Reporting directly to our Chief Financial Officer, you’ll collaborate closely with our executive team and work in tandem with our Chief Commercial Officer.

Multi-national experience is a plus, as we have operations in Canada, Australia, Europe (Sweden and Germany).

A DAY IN THE LIFE

As a key member of the team, this role will be responsible for a full range of activities including:

  • Craft quarterly earnings releases, presentations, scripts, and sections of the annual report
  • Respond to investor and analyst inquiries
  • Monitor industry news and investor perceptions
  • Develop IR strategies, including targeting potential investors
  • Prepare executive team for investor meetings, roadshows, and conferences
  • Oversee investor relations section on company website
  • Track and report on investor engagement metrics
  • Manage external vendor responsible for tactical elements of IR program


Your Expertise And Skills

To perform this job successfully, individuals must be able to perform each duty and responsibility satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • 10+ years in investor relations or finance-related roles
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or similar field
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity with SEC filings
  • Proficient in financial modeling
  • Experience with IR platforms like Bloomberg, FactSet is a plus
  • Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally, as needed
