Role: Vice President, Human Resources

Location: Remote. Must work in a location within the United States.

Travel: Up to 10%

Classification: Exempt

Reports to: Chief Financial Officer

Salary Range: Commensurate with experience

About The Role

The Vice President of Human Resources will be responsible for contributing to our company’s growth strategy by leading and managing all aspects of human capital management. You will be instrumental in fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and collaboration, while ensuring alignment with our business objectives and values.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with the company’s overall strategic objectives and growth plans.
  • Implement effective strategies for talent acquisition, career development, and employee engagement, with a focus on nurturing a high-performance culture.
  • Lead initiatives to enhance employee satisfaction, diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), and overall workplace culture.
  • Develop and manage competitive compensation and benefits programs that align with industry standards and support employee retention and motivation.
  • Oversee HR operations including policies, procedures, payroll, and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Ensure compliance of all federal, state, and local employment and labor laws and regulations, and recommended best practices
  • Ensure HR practices are scalable and adaptable to support rapid company growth while maintaining operational efficiency.
  • Implement learning initiatives that foster professional growth and support career progression for employees at all levels.
  • Lead change management initiatives to support organizational growth, acquisitions, and other strategic initiatives.
  • Drive continuous improvement in HR processes and systems to optimize organizational effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Provide mentorship, guidance, and professional development opportunities for Human Resource team members to enhance their leadership skills, human resource expertise, and strategic thinking.
  • Comply with and hold with utmost regard all compliance requirements to protect patient privacy and confidentiality.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of progressive HR leadership experience, ideally in a high-growth technology or healthcare services company.
  • Proven experience in mentoring and developing HR managers and teams, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Strong knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
  • Proficient with Google Workspace and related software.
  • Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization’s HRIS and talent management systems.

Must be able to perform physical activities, such as, but not limited to: moving or handling (lifting, pushing, pulling and reaching overhead) office equipment and supplies weighing 1 to 25 lbs. unassisted. Frequently required to sit for extended periods during the workday. Manual dexterity and visual acuity required. Must be able to communicate effectively on the telephone and in person.
