Job Title: VP of Human Resources, Safety & Performance Management

We are seeking an experienced leader to be responsible for our HR initiatives, safety programs and performance management across all operations. This role is crucial for driving our company culture, enhancing employee relations, and maintaining our commitment to a safe and productive workplace.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
Manage the recruitment and selection process to attract top talent.
Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital.
Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures across the organization.
Develop and oversee benefits and compensation strategies and tactics in the business.
Oversee and ensure compliance with occupational health and safety standards and legislation.
Oversee processes related to measuring, improving and rewarding company performance.
Assess training needs and coordinate learning and development initiatives for all employees.
Collaborate with executive and senior leadership to align HR and Safety policies with the company's strategic goals.
Maintain management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures.
Ensure that a company remains in compliance with laws and regulations.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of 10 years of experience in leadership position within the field of Human Resources.
Preferred background in food manufacturing or a closely related industry.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices.
Knowledge of safety compliance and occupational health standards in the manufacturing sector.
Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
Strong leadership and organizational skills.
