Salary And Other Compensation
The annual salary for this position is between $237,500-$366,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.

Role Responsibilities
The Vice President, Healthcare Delivery Leader will be responsible for the following:
Qualifications
- 20-25+ years of delivery leadership experience in managing large product competencies or and delivery portfolios.
- 10+ years of strong delivery leader and has managed offshore teams and facing the clients from a delivery standpoint.
- Strategic thinker with ability to build out product implementation and transformation roadmaps for the customer.
- Result-oriented leader with sound experience across products, integrations, custom development, testing, hosting and BPO.
- Proven track record of enabling and championing grass-root innovation, transforming and improving performance, managing client relations, and meeting / exceeding SLAs / KPIs (including Business SLAs)
- Sound understanding of technical architecture, integration and hosting environments and data security and privacy requirements.
- Extensive experience in building high performance teams to drive on-time delivery, quality, efficiency, and superior service.
- Energetic, collaborative leader and ability to influence and steer the team in the right direction.
- Great client facing skills, persistent, and willing to do right by the client and pushing back when needed.
- Deep experience in program management and in delivering TriZetto or similar Healthcare platform implementations, complex upgrades, migrations, and support engagements.
- 10-15+ years of experience in in healthcare payer industry; experience working with Fortune-100 healthcare firms.
- Deep knowledge of the healthcare industry, LOBs (including commercial, Medicare, Medicaid, Individual, Duals etc.) industry regulations and cutting-edge technology and trends in the market (e.g., Generative AI, Internet of Things, AI/ML etc.)
- Delivered 10+ large transformation programs for health insurance firms in U.S., Significant experience in product consulting in healthcare domain.
- Ability to confidently liaise and negotiate with CXO level stakeholders (client, partners, and company)
- Navigate the organizational complexity, ability to lead multiple service lines / cross-functional teams across IT and BPO and present a unified view of Cognizant.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to support C-level stakeholder discussions and relationships.
- Strong strategic and business mindset
- Articulates the company’s mission, vision, and objectives concisely that can speak to clients and employees at all levels.
- Superior analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
