The Vice President, Global Data Services directs the design and development of data strategies and processes to support the organization’s current and future data asset requirements and meet business goals and objectives. Defines and implements the architecture, systems and roadmap to obtain, store, integrate and manage data. Establishes data governance standards and policies to ensure data accuracy, reliability, and security. Adheres to data privacy regulations to ensure sensitive data is protected.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
Develop and execute IT and data management strategies in alignment with the company’ overall business objectives.
Ensure client data is prepared for use by business teams.
Identify and implement innovative technologies and processes to drive growth.
Lead, mentor and manage team of professionals cultivating a culture of innovation, collaboration and continuous improvement.
Collaborate with senior management to identify technology needs and opportunities for enhancing business processes and client experiences.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to drive initiatives to achieve business goals.
Develop and manage budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and adherence to financial targets.
Ensure effective communication and collaboration with clients and operations.
Ensure robust data management practices, including data development, data architecture, and data governance.
Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions to enhance data quality and mitigate risks.
Evaluate current processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement and recommend changes to optimize data quality and availability.
Other duties as assigned.
Work Experience And Education Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, data science or related field
Minimum of 10 years’ experience in data management, data quality or a related field
Proven track record of implementing data quality processes in large organizations
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively with diverse teams of people.
