Position Overview

As the Vice President for Land-grant Engagement and Dean, you will play a key role in driving innovation and excellence in academic leadership. Collaborating with a diverse community of students, faculty, and stakeholders is essential to advancing our mission of academic excellence, research innovation, and community service.

Responsibilities

Strategic Planning: Lead efforts to enhance the college's academic, research, and extension programs through strategic planning and implementation.

Collaboration and Inclusivity: Foster a culture of collaboration and inclusivity to ensure all voices are heard and valued.

Budget Management: Oversee budget management and resource allocation to support the college's goals and priorities.

Partnerships: Cultivate partnerships and engage with external stakeholders to expand opportunities for student success and community impact.

Mentorship and Support: Provide mentorship and support to faculty and staff, promoting professional development and growth.

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion: Champion initiatives to create a welcoming and supportive environment for all, emphasizing diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Qualifications

Education and Experience: Hold a terminal degree in a relevant field with significant leadership experience in academia.

Leadership Skills: Demonstrate a proven track record of success in academic administration, including budget management and strategic planning.

Communication: Exhibit strong communication and interpersonal skills, inspiring and motivating others.
