Job Overview

Arrive is seeking a visionary VP of Finance who will drive our financial strategy and operations to new heights. As a critical member of our executive team, you will shape and steer our financial future, providing strategic direction and insight that aligns with our ambitious growth objectives. This role is not just about managing numbers but about being a strategic partner to our Co-CEOs and VP of Sales, playing a pivotal role in defining and achieving our company's vision. It’s crucial that you still love getting in the weeds and are exceptionally detail oriented, loving to live in every cell of a spreadsheet.

In this dynamic role, you will navigate between high-level strategic planning and detailed financial execution, ensuring that our financial practices not only support but propel Arrive's growth. You will have a direct impact on our company’s success, influencing major decisions and driving financial innovation.

Ensuring accuracy and compliance in all financial functions. You will regularly be creating P&Ls and forecast models from the ground up.
  • Fundraising and Investor Relations: Assist fundraising rounds, prepare investor reporting requirements, and maintain compliance with all financial reporting and regulatory requirements. You will be a key presenter in quarterly board meetings, showcasing our financial health and strategic plans.
  • Risk Management: This role is accountable for building and leading highly efficient financial and risk management operations for the company, which includes the development and successful implementation of accounting and financial systems, policies, metrics tied to driving financial performance, and the ongoing development and monitoring of control systems designed to allow for reporting accurate and meaningful financial results
  • Operational Efficiency: Optimize financial and operational systems and processes to enhance efficiency and provide critical insights. Your improvements will drive our operational excellence.
  • Sales Partnership: Integrate financial expertise into the sales process, including P&L creation and active leadership in external partner calls. Embedded within the full cycle sales process, working alongside the sales team to drive revenue and close deals. You have done this before and have extreme confidence in your ability to sell to partners from a financial perspective.

Qualifications

  • Startup experience required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; a Master's degree or CPA is highly preferred.
  • A minimum of 10 years of finance experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within a high-growth company or startup environment.
