Overview

The Facility Executive for the brand-new Lake Norman Hospital reports to the SVP, North CLT Area President and serves as the executive of their facility responsible for achieving day-to-day operational excellence. The Facility Executive relentlessly pursues efficiency and effectiveness to create the best place to work and serve our patients, families, medical staff, nurses, and teammates.

Position Accountabilities

  • Primary focus on execution of Operational Excellence- top decile performance in Quality/ Safety, Patient Experience, Teammate Engagement, Efficiency and financial performance.
  • Leads the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of care delivery models and services that meet or exceed customer expectations.
  • Leads the fiscal oversight of allocated resources to optimize efficient and effective utilization.
  • Develop and execute strategies achieving exceptional growth in a highly competitive market
  • Responsible for providing effective and coordinated leadership of patient care for the clinical patient service and support areas.
  • Promotes creativity and innovation around continuous improvement
  • Ensures compliance with standards and requirements established by regulatory and certifying agencies.
  • Participates in the strategic planning structures and processes with administration, medical staff and clinical leaders. Assures that appropriate communication occurs with the management and patient care staff related to hospital operations.
  • Promotes the development and use of evidence-based, outcome-driven treatment methods, which are deemed "best-practice" through comprehensive benchmarking of care provided to patient populations of comparable severity and clinical risk.
  • Collaborate in a high matrixed organization to achieve system goals.
  • Leads selection of team and mentor, fosters, and develops a culture of caring excellence across the facility.

Qualifications

Education/Experience Required

  • Master's Degree in Health Care Administration, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • RN, MD, and DO training all considered but not required

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required

  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive, successful experience as a Healthcare leader (clinical or non-clinical) is required
